Defense In Sector - Luring Attackers

Security Element consisted of a single Commander.

Sighting by the enemy of a lone Commander has given the enemy overconfidence in attacking a known Defensive position. The enemy forces include a Sniper, Commander, (Medic and Grenadier unspotted this turn, but are in the area).

The Support Element for this Commander consists of reloading or wounded Grenadiers. Within a single ten seconds move to support, they are able to support or annihilate any opposition found. Therefore, the Commander becomes expendable, and able to play decoy.

The enemy engages with what it feels to be superior firepower, but the Commander is hard to kill, and the Support Element is able to move in quickly and unleash a massive bombardment as a Grenadier Fire Team.

 

A lone Commander survives this encounter, delaying the engagement just long enough for the three Grenadier Fire Team to coordinate a combined indirect fire assault, as detailed in (c). This Defense in Sector ended the game with only a single point scored by the enemy team.
